HOMESCHOOLERS

During the years we have had the school program about 10% to 15% of the students attending have been homeschoolers. Some of the homeschoolers come in a group and others just with a parent or two. We charge the homeschoolers ages 6 through 17 the same $5 each that school students pay and all accompanying younger children and adults are admitted free. Please note that students and children must be accompanied by a parent, teacher or be in a group with an adult, i.e., they cannot attend the event alone.

We must have the name of the homeschoolers that are coming no later than October 31, 2008. The reason is that we make up a list of names of all homeschoolers who are attending, individually or with groups, and there is one of our staff with that list at the gate.
Homeschoolers who do NOT have their name on the list still pay only the $5 to enter but all accompanying adults must pay the normal $10 admission fee.

If you come with a group we can assign a reenactor to orient your group and if you come in family groups you can join some of the school groups or other homeschool groups.

Our cutoff date for receiving the homeschooler's money and name is Monday, October 31, 2008. Please send it to the address given below.
