The Atlanta Campaign wishes to thank all who participated and attended our events over the last 10 years. You have made it very successful for the causes we gave money to. We are now taking a well deserved break for a few years. Please look for our next event, the 150 Anniversary Battle of Chickamauga, to be held in Chickamauga, Ga. Sept. 20 to 22, 2013. The sutler registration and reenactor registration forms are already on this site. We will also be hosting the 150th Anniversary Battle of Atlanta on Sept. 19 to 21, 2014. Hopefully we will be able to return to Nash Farm for the 2014 battle reenactment.
Please continue to watch our web site for updates to these two exciting events. We look forward to being able to host two very successful events just as we did in the past.

The Atlanta Campaign Inc.wishes to thank each and every person that helped make this year's reenactment such a success. We could not have asked for better weather for the weekend. Our final count of participants on the Nash Farm property was 2007. This includes the 65 folks who were either Sutlers or with the Sutlers. We were able to make a very nice donation to the Parks and Rec Dept. and also to the Friends of Nash Farm. We have also pledged up to $1000.00 to The Friends of Nash Farm for paint for the Zachary House. When they are ready to paint the house we will give them the money.
The video company was very happy with the footage they got from the battles and camps. We hope that each of you were able to order a copy because a portion of the sales will come back to Nash Farm . If you order a subscription to the Civil War News online just check the Nash Farm donation box and your subscription is only $10.00 for the year and $10.00 will be given to Nash Farm.
Folks without your support over the last 10 years we could not have had a successful event each year. Because of your hard work and participation we have done a lot of good for numerous preservation and restoration projects. Thank you for your help over the years with the school students. Over the 10 years we had over 17,000 students talk to you. You brought history alive for them. Congratulations!!!!!
Now it is time for us to take a small break. We do not want to get to the point where you do not want to go to the reenactment because it is done every year. We are now talking about doing one every 5 years. We have had preliminary discussions with the city manager of Chickamauga about 2013. Please watch our web site in the next few months for more info about this and more.
Once again THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
